Frequently Asked Questions |
| Q.
There is an incredible amount of detail in these images.
how is that possible? |
| A. Many
of the images in the Mysterious Places series were shot using
a 4 x5 or 8 x 10 view camera. The large film size, many times
the size of a 35mm transparency, produces images with startling
clarity and no grain. These cameras are the "IMAX's"
of the still photo world. |

| Q. What
kind of film and paper is used. |
| A. Most
images were shot using Fuji Velvia (iso 50) transparency film.
When printed, we use Fuji Supergloss paper. Similar to Ilfochrome
paper, it is plastic based, produces long lived and very vivid
images. |

| Q. The
edition sizes are quite low, What happens when they sell out? |
| A. Once
an edition is sold out, no other fine art prints of that image
will be printed. We reserve the right to use the image in other
forms, such as stock photography or note cards, for example,
but the fine art prints themselves will not be reprinted. |

| Q. Is it safe
to use my credit card to order a Fine Art Print? |
| A. Using the
secure order form on our web site is one of the safest ways to
order merchandise. Unlike a catalog or phone order, only our
small staff will ever see your credit card number. If you are
the paranoid type, however, feel free to print out the order
form and fax it to us. Or just give us a call at our toll free
